| What's Your School's Mascot?
Saw this in high school life, was curious to see what kind of different mascots we all had.
Mine is a husky, more specifically Jonathan the Husky. GOO HUSKIES !
p.s. school's mascot? or school mascot? :P

UC Davis' official mascot is a mustang named Gunrock that used to live at the UC Davis Horse Barn back in the days. However, the UC Davis population is more known as Aggies.
AGGIE PRIDE, FTW.

Gamecocks!
My high school was the Griffin.
Apparently I can't go to a school with a 'normal' mascot... you know one that isn't based on illegal activity or one that isn't mythical... :-/
But still... I love how on College Board I can say Go *****! and it usually gets bleeped out... It's so unfortunate, because that's *actually* what we say in cheers and stuff.
Oh and people always say "Don't get too cocky."... but our mascot is named Cocky. I enjoy it. It makes for lots of laughs.

I went from a rock to a Spartan.
My high school mascot was a rock. A rock. -.-
My boyfriend went from a Spartan to a Spartan. One of our mutual good friends went from a Spartan to a Wolverine. We like to constantly remind him that he was a Spartan first and the Wolverine is just the leftover (MSU/U of M rivalry in case you didn't catch on... all in good fun of course ).

Testudo the Diamondback Terrapin
Seen here looking badass: http://cdn1.sbnation.com/imported_as...02/testudo.jpg
Seen here looking... well, it's not quite as imposing: http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/multimedi...opr3-17955.jpg
Christ I'll be honest, the mascot costume looks like the horrifying product of a union between a turtle and a large-beaked avian. I guess there's something endearing about it, but I'd rather have it look more like the logo version.
At least it's not the nut of a tree (Ohio State) or an entire tree (Stanford). God, Stanford's is the work of a child's nightmare: http://www.studentloaninfo.org/blog/...s/cardinal.jpg
I like Virginia Tech's HokieBird for some reason. I also like Georgia Tech's Buzz and Ramblin' Wreck (it's a freakin car!).
But the best is Texas A&M's Reveille. A live collie. The tradition surrounding it is also pretty sweet IMO http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reveille_(dog)

Ours is the anteater. At least it isn't the same mascot shared by 50 other schools.

My undergrad didn't even have an official mascot until after I graduated a few years ago. Now it's a Scotty dog. We're still the Tartans, though, which is a particular pattern of plaid on the scarf the dog wears.

I forgot to mention we also have a live mascot as well. They bring Clyde in when special things happen (like the opening of the new basketball stadium).

We have Tuffy the Elephant. I lalalaLOVE USC's Trojan and their school spirit. Chico's Wildcat is really cute. I used to think UCSB's Gaucho was some kind of alligator but it's actually a guy, hahah!! :P

I went from a Bomber Plane to Hornets (transferred high schools), then my college mascot was a greyhound.
