Today's my birthday and I was thinking about a few of the weird things I do every year. I always talk to my mom before anyone else, take a phone screen shot of 11:59 July 11 and 12:00 July 12, and don't check my facebook the entire day (I guess it makes me feel more special to see all those notifications and birthday posts at the same time). Does anyone else have any unique or weird thing they try to do on their birthday every year?

Last year I had a seance for my birthday, but that was unusual. I don't really have any traditions (there are even years when I don't have a cake).

Let it hit me that my birthday is coming up in a week, throw together dinner plans with friends, eat cake with my family the night before my birthday, and pick up my free Sephora gift.

My last birthday was spent on a plane. My next birthday will be, too. 21st birthday on a plane? Time for booze
It's just how the timing of finals works out. But hey, I'm not complaining. I love flying, and I love going home. It's like a very expensive birthday present to myself

Otherwise, I've never done anything more than eat out with family or friends and have a cake.
