haha well this list has lost its validity by not having tulane on there. after the hurricane i had to transfer to florida state for the semester. a lot of my friends had to transfer to arizona state. let's just say that neither of these schools are even CLOSE to competing with tulane in partying. seriously. tulane is in new orleans. bars dont close in new orleans. you can buy a handle of rum in a gas station at 4:00 am sunday morning. you only have to be 18 to get into bars and buy drinks. when people say how great a party school is, they invariably compare it to new orleans. "it's the bourbon street of the north." "it's the mardi gras of austin." whatever. it's mardi gras all year long at tulane. anyone who'se been to new orleans or visited tulane wont argue that it's the best party school

There is a difference between glomming on to a party and being the party. N.O. partying goes on with and without Tulane students and the action is far from campus. At UW the party starts right outside the campus.

there are 880 bars in new orleans. the partying goes on everywhere. the dorms are closer to the bars than classes. you can drink on campus. the drinking age was 18 until a couple a years ago. bourbon street is 4 miles from campus

Thank you barrons for shedding some truth on this subject. Justcallmefunk, since this post is dedicated to that purpose I'd say it seems acceptable to me.

UF should definitely be on there, a lot of kids from my school go up there every weekend and come home drunk. Though FSU is the top party school in FL as everyone who is going there from our school this year are big party animals. Hey, where's our high school on this list?

hey erhswimming, I get drunk in high school doesn that mean my high school should be in the top 10? You can get drunk anywhere the party scene at these top 10 schools just happens to be the best. Playboy has student reps at every school and im sure that the schools that made the cut are exceptional party schools, better than all the rest. Especially number three arizona state university

Yeah wow, quite a story, kids come home drunk from UF. Top party school contender right there. While I'm sure it's got a great party scene with hott girls, I don't think that comment proves it. There happens to be a bit of drinking at the other schools as well.

as an unbiased person who's been to both, i can DEFINITELY say that ohio halloween trumps wisconsin. sorry, but the campus is one of the most "haunted" in the world and people go really crazy for it.
too bad halloween at my own school sucks. |

I'm glad my current school doesn't do much on halloween...I'm too old for it (in my opinion). Haven't trick or treated since I was 13, haven't had a serious costume since I was 17.
Anyway, are any of the smaller schools on the list? I'd say Mount Union in Ohio is right up there with the IUPs of the world. You know that school's a party school when the RAs come in drunk/stoned all the time. They were also immature--using the "F" word when addressing the hallway is not a good example of leadership in my opinion. And they never rectified the party situation either.
