What do high schools/ colleges usually round GPA to? say a 2.94222

would that be a 2.9 or a 2.94?

Is there a difference between HS rounding and college rounding?

It varies from school to school.

My HS went to 4 decimals but I have no idea how common that is.

My college went to 3 decimals, but my friends at other schools only went to 2 decimals.

    I don't get a GPA in medical school (honors/high pass/pass/marginal/fail grading system).

atleast 3 decimals. I think it would make sense to not round them at all in calculating class rank but thats just my school

My school is 3 for class rank, 2 for transcript. (3.xxx vs. 3.xx)

Most schools I've seen give two decimal places, but in terms of class rank I'm sure they'd take it out to the third or even fourth if it would make a difference.

Where do you guys go that it's three places?
