do a lot of people wear no show socks at college? do you? do you think they are hot/attractive? why do you like/dislike about them?

The only socks I wear are no shows, unless I'm placing slowpitch and then it's the knee highs all the way...

I like them because I never have problems with them falling down and I don't like having them stick up past my ankle bone. Maybe it's just my eyes, but I think socks that come up past the ankle bone make the lower leg look like a straight down tube while no shows accent the ankle and achilles tendon and make the leg look slimmer. Anybody else know what I'm talking about here? I've always had great calves from playing sports and working out and IMO they look better w/ no shows.

I prefer no show socks because there's no awkward sock tan. They're slightly faster to pull on when you're in a hurry in the morning too.

melli...i end up with an amazing sock tan right around my ankle w/ no shows lol....i guess it's because i hate feet so i wear shoes all the time and never wear sandals unless i'm wearing my Chacos which leave me with the infamous Chaco Tan

and to answer the OP question...most people i see wear no-show socks. as long as you dont wear socks with sandals, you should be fine

and willmingtonwave, i assume snow isnt an issue in NC but here in the upper Midwest i HATE hearing girls b*tch and moan about how cold their feet are when they're wearing flip flops during a blizzard. put some shoes on and shut up if you're cold.

It snows a lot in Michigan. I wear socks with Birkenstocks and I'm pretty that's a result of going to prep school.

I'm a guy and I wear no show socks. Most guys at my school wear them...at least when wearing shorts. Tube sucks just look dumb. Ankle socks are okay.

i wear them and im a guy. everyone at my school wears them. i've never heard them being called that though

Of course, I wear them. You have to in Florida, if you choose not to wear sandals all the time.
