| http://www.iblogforcookies.com/archi...415/index.html Quote: Gary Danielson: Florida. I think when you look at it, there's really not much of a debate. Florida plays in the SEC. Let me say that again, the SEC. Take Vanderbilt; that's a really good team, a top 25 caliber team except that they play in the SEC where they are bottom of the pack. They could probably win any other conference in football. They almost beat Michigan, challenging them deep into the 4th quarter on the road, but Florida smoked them by 3 scores. iBFC: Didn't they beat Vandy by 6? Gary Danielson: Yes, that's 3 scores. 3 safeties. Or 6 extra points. Florida beat Vanderbilt by 6 scores at Vanderbilt. Mark May: Can I jump in here? Let's not forget that USC beat that Vanderbilt team by 37 points in a hypothetical game that I went through in my head last night. That's an important fact to consider. Chris Fowler: Why are we talking about Vanderbilt? Lou Holtz: My good friend Ara Parseghian taught me always to respect your next opponent, no matter how bad they are, but since I'm out of coaching now I can be honest and say Vanderbilt is not a good football team. Desmond Howard: (laughing) Vanderbilt. Vanderbilt has never beaten anyone. They're never going to beat anyone. They're Vanderbilt. I can't believe we're talking about Vanderbilt. They might be the worst football program in the country. You have to pick Michigan for the title game. Michigan vs. Ohio State ... what else could you ask for?

South Carolina is on the rise. They only lost to Florida by 1 last year. Too bad they rejected some recruits though for academic reasons even though they qualified.

bigredmed that link is funny as hell. I remember laughing during the postgame of ND-MSU last year when Howard was killing MSU. I could almost hear MSU recruits cringing during the postgame (and of course during the actual ND comeback!!!). The only thing he didnt say was that they should transfer to DIII.

RUTGERS ALL THE WAY BABY. But in reality most likely I see USC dropping game, and I definitely see LSU taking that number one spot. The Big East will be tough with WVU, Rutgers, Louisville. Don't sleep on Wisconsin, they've had solid squads and may upset Michigan (clear favorite to win the Big 10).

i hope that was sarcasm. there are only 11 players on each side of the ball so 22 total. Unless you're counting the kicker....?

i really don't think ucla is going to produce much results this year. They'll kick a few weak asses in the pac 10 but overall they'll be shut down by the stronger teams as usual.
