I'm a college Dean of Students, and we require AlcoholEdu of our entire entering class. Yes, they gripe and moan about it as you all are doing, but on the survey after Part IV, 85-90% each year recommend that we use it with the following year's freshmen.

Did everyone's who has taken the Alc Edu Test take it from MyStudentBody.com? Actually the test wasn't that bad, although I didn't really learn anything new (praise my parents and my teachers)
And to the guys who had too many vodkas and OJ...how can you stand vodka...hated it since the time I first touched it. Hated wine as well.
Rather have a good whiskey or a chilled Cobra/Fosters anyday.

Yeah that's the one I failed. I kept getting 75% and 70%, and now I can't take it anymore. I guess I have to have them reset the timer or something.

At my college you didn't have to take AlcoholEdu until you got written up for a drinking violation.

AlcoholEdu is supposedly required at my college, but I never did it, and I never got into any trouble for it.

... but I rarely drink, and the few times I do, it's in extreme moderation. As a 5'6, 110-pound female with a very low tolerance, I know to be careful.

I am not aware of my college making us take alcohol classes, but I'm sure there are flyers an presenations on the subject? Oh well, I shall find out soon enough.

what do u mean by "wet campus"
Diesel, this means that a college campus allows alcohol. A "dry campus" would mean that alcohol is prohibited. For example, the Claremont colleges have a wet campus because the college does not want students driving to LA for drinking and driving back drunk (so I was told).

If this is the same boring 3hr thing that I had to take online, the answers for the test are posted online, so you don't have to waste time retaking it.

Hmmm...I never had to take an alcohol education class/survey at my college.
I've never even heard of them until this thread.
