CU-Boulder

Any one aware of undergrad life at University of Colorado at Boulder? And the extra curriculars?

A little bit. I go to a sister campus to CU-Boulder.

I live just outside of Boulder and both my parents (and me for the Summer!) work there for housing. I'm not going there in the fall but it's a great school...students love Pearl Street and The Hill as far as hangouts.

The campus is amazing...The "italian villa" thing (despite sounding pretentious) really stands out with the blue sky and the flatirons. Not to mention the flatirons are just...amazing. It sucks when it's all sleety and slippery and you have to run across the campus (I've slipped quite a few times), and in Boulder you have to learn that it goes cyclist - pedestrians - cars in terms of pecking order. Security? Eh...they hand out rape whistles at the beginning of the year...and they hang in the girls' showers (because anyone can walk in).

But, Boulder is safe...just be aware of your surroundings.

There are tons of cool extracurriculars...Except, expect a lot of them to (for some reason) be on Wednesday night.

Uuuh. Yeah, I'm going to be a sophomore there next year...If you have any other questions, ask!

I agree. The campus is beautiful and kept well.
