| double major or one major and double minors
I'm currently going to be a high school senior in the fall, and with June coming to an end and application time rolling around, I was wondering whether it was better to do a double major or a major and two minors? Vanderbilt is currently my top choice, but they don't have a Zoology major which I'm pretty bummed about. I know that if I attend Vanderbilt, I will mostly likely do an Ecology, Evolution & Organismal Biology major, but thats all I'm sure about. They only have Astronomy and Geology as minors, and I absolutely LOVE those subjects. So would it be better to do a Biology major with another major even if the other major dosen't interest me, or would it be better to major in Biology with minors in Geology and Astronomy? I want to work at a game reserve or wildlife conservation somewhere in South Africa or around the Montana/Utah region or become a vet or go to medical school. |
