| So students use backpacks at all in college?

| When I walk from class to class, I hold all of my books in one hand, my notebooks and pens in my other, I slip my water bottle into my bra and all of my pants pockets are stuffed with my wallet, my cellphone, and certain other things a woman might want to carry around.
Some students have tote bags, others have shoulder bags and many have backpacks. You can use whatever you are comfortable with. | |

| I use a backpack....and can't imagine making it through college without some sort of bag (backpack, messenger bag, giant purse that some girls use). It's not like high school where you can run to your locker between every class. Most classes won't require you to bring your textbook (especially in big lectures), but having a bag makes carrying notebooks or binders and your wallet and pens and pencils much easier. | |

| The site is probably set up so ads are relevant to the topic of discussion. A sports board I frequent gets some weird ads on the "off-topic" board. If people are talking about sports uniforms, ads for Eastbay or similar appear. If we have a discussion about boxers/briefs/sports bras/whatever, we'll get ads for anything from Nike bras to Victoria's Secret to AE Boxers. Smart advertising IMO. | |
