Graduation Gift Cards - What to do with them? (For recent HS grads/parents)

No, I don't mean the kind with money attached (those are nice!). I mean the Hallmark cards with nice notes inside from high school friends, parents, and teachers. I have a shoebox full of these, and don't know what to do with them. I'm a pack rat to begin with, and it seems a shame to throw out all these cards, many of them with really sweet messages inside, many of them from people I may not have much interaction with in the future. So - any creative ideas on what to do with them?

I think mine are still in a shoebox at home, along with some other senior year stuff. Class of '06 so I've had them two years and don't want to toss them...but don't know what to do with them. In 10 years I'll probably pull out that box, remember my friends and teachers, and put them back to get out again later.

Cards4Life- This is cheesy, but after I read what you posted and then looked at your username, I couldn't help but grin.

I'm doing the keeping the cards squirreled away and randomly looking at them thing. I never throw out cards for any occasion. I feel guilty if I try.

At my school, we got this big red envelope full of cards from teachers, parents, other students, and family members (those who didn't just send cards directly to the house, anyway). I just tossed the rest of my graduation cards into that. I'm going to keep them by my yearbook, I think.

haha...my username has nothing to do with "cards" in the sense that this thread is discussing. I love the St Louis Cardinals.....but yeah, I hate throwing stuff away. I've accumulated a lot of random crap in college that makes my friends wonder why I ever kept it.

I never keep cards. It's not like I'm going to ever look at them again. If you really are set on keeping them, I guess you could make a scrapbook. Some people just stuff them in their yearbook.

I took a couple of the most personal/meaningful and tucked them into my yearbook, for easy access when I feel like reminiscing (along with the program from graduation and a few other things). The rest are just going in a shoebox in my closet.

Something slightly more creative, if they're small enough, would be to get a little photo book with pockets and put them in there.
