I identify as an agnostic atheist (with anti-religious tendencies), but Wikipedia seems to show that this term is no longer in use. I say it's no more confusing than Protestant/Baptist/Methodist/Lutheran/etc. It's all about self-identification.

Ever notice how the crazies always target the children first? Hitler Youth, etc. Might just be because children are impressionable and don't know much about reality?
It's not just the crazies. Your liberal friends use the same tactics to redefine ideas like tolerance (equating it with "embracing") and marriage in the classroom.

Realize it's impossible to prove anything, and that religion is lacking in evidence, you are an agnostic atheist.
If it's impossible to prove anything, then one, that claim is impossible to prove, so it may indeed be possible to prove something and two, accepting a religion is no worse than accepting non-religion and science since neither is fully provable.

First off, I'm not a liberal, so don't equate me with one.

Secondly, I already addressed that. If you want to take that attitude, then believing in Slappy the Teacup god that revolves around Mars is just as valid as your Christian god.
I can prove, within the limitations of my mind, that the Earth is round by simply going outside. Yet I can't prove anything for your god, or Slappy, by using common sense.
