You forgot Toilet Paper, Always pack this last, because it just might be the first thing you need in your new dorm ~Uhaul

Oh, and something that if you have, you should definetely bring!, a swiss army knife. I can't believe how many times I wanted this on my last vacation.

(really depends what sort of climate your college/university is in)
  • intimates
    - bras (sport bras and regular ones) | females
    - underwear
    - pajamas

    - gloves, scarves, hats
  • outerwear

    - sweaters
    - cardigans
  • shirts
    - tshirts
    - blouses
    - tank tops
    - button ups
  • bottoms

DORM LIVING
  • electronics
    check with your college and roommate to see if some of the following items are allowed or already provided.
    - microwave
    - refrigerator
    - television
    - dvd players, vcr players, gaming systems
    - coffeemakers / water boilers / rice cookers
    - camera (batteries, charger, memory card)
    - laptop / desktop
    - printer / scanner (Recommended: any HP Photosmart All-In-One)
  • memorandums
    - photo albums
  • decor
    - rugs
    - posters
    - art
    - drapes
    - bedspreads (at least 4 sets)
  • laundry supplies
    - softener
    - detergent
    - laundry basket / bag
    - towels (at least 10 or more if you don't do laundry once a week.)
    - pillows (However many you like. I like at least 4 pillows on my bed.)
    - hangers
    - quarters
    - sewing kit
  • kitchen and cleaning
    - paper towels
    - soap
    - wet wipes
    - tissues
    - trashbags
    - light bulbs (check to see if they are provided)

TOILETRIES
  • personal
    - pads / tampons | females

    - body soap
    - moisturizer
    - toothpaste/toothbrush/floss
    - tweezers
    - comb/brush
    - hair dryer
    - nail clippers
    - razor and shaving cream

AN ONLINE VERSION. I think I covered most of it. This was the list I made for my (extremely unorganized) friend. Most of these things can be bought once you get to your dorm. Feel free to add anything else I might have missed.
