history major

can anyone tell me about the history department? how strong is it? what is the workload like and how difficult are the classes? is it hard to meet requirements? what are the professors like? what is the job placement rate? internships?

I know a history major.. He says its a fair amount of work, but then again so is TCNJ is general.. At TCNJ you'll be doing a lot of reading and writing papers which is how the school got to be so prestigious; they make you work.. No it's not hard to meet requirements unless of course you fail a class and need to take it over again (if you fail at TCNJ you can take that class over again and they only show the higher grade and remove the lower one).. Professors are good, he says its not like every class is interesting but no class is interesting 100% of the time so expecting that is unreasonable.. I don't know about jobs sorry.. Basically, if you want a rewarding education with professors who know and love what they teach and are willing to work for your grades then history at TCNJ is an excellent choice for you
