I talked a lot in my essays about how I help to support my mother. I talked about my quirks, like how I don't care about matching or tying my shoes. I talk about how I had to quit basketball when I was a junior because my mom got conned by a man she was dating for tens of thousands and I had to get a job, but that I liked my job. I talked about the homeless man who lived at the grocery store I worked at, and how I connected with him, when others simply snubbed their noses at him. I talk about how I'm my own person. I have a really tough schedule in school *7 APs... I'm not a world-class athlete or anything, but I think my essays are good nonetheless.. I highlight my job and family situation wherever applicable. If I saw the app, I'd barely notice that my EC's aren't really strong..
These schools are fits for me, more so at the top than the bottom
So where on this list, should I start seeing "ACCEPTED"?
