Have you sat down with your parents to find out just exactly how they expect you to pay for your education? You need to know how much money is available. The reason why your mom wants you to look at the SUNYs may be that money is a lot tighter than you think.

How many of these have you visited? Pitt is more urban and cosmopolitan compared to Penn State and some of the others on your list. Drexel kind of stands out as the smaller private school; fine for engineering and probably business, but less flexibie if you change your mind. Academically there isn't a lot of separation between those schools; you can pick based on the net cost and whichever environment feels best to you.

i visited penn state, rutgers, pitt, stony brook, drexel, and temple..im going to visit delaware soon if i get accepted im supposed to find out mid march. Right now I pretty much narrowed it down to penn state, pitt, rutgers, and delaware....i ove penn state for the most part..only thing is its in the middle of nowher..pitt is for the most part pretty good but its 7 or 8 hrs from my house..and i didnt really like rutgers campus too much bc its too spread out, but i love the fact that its near nyc and that will definetly play a big role in my decisions...i also like delaware and i have heard good things about the campus and location but im not too sure about it in terms of academics.

any comments anyone?

PENN STATE, RUTGERS, PITT, OR DELAWARE??

comp science/or Information sciences major

possibly minor in marketing or economics or something else in the business field
