triple room fershman year

would a school that makes you live in a triple room freshman year be a deal breaker? or a school that does not offer upper class students singles also a deal breaker?

The lack of singles wouldn't be a deal-breaker at all. I don't see that as being important except for medical/disability reasons. The triple may be, I don't know if I could deal with it unless the room was significantly bigger than a regular dorm room (which it probably wouldn't be)

The limited availability of on-campus housing for upperclassmen at my college was almost a deal-breaker for my parents, even though finances are taken into account there's a chance I'll have to live off-campus as early as my sophomore year.
