math honours vs engineering

I am a student and have graduated from school this year. I am really confused as to which course to choose. I have an option to pursue mathematics honours from Delhi University or engineering from Hong Kong University for Science and Technology. Which degree has more scope/flexible/job opportunites etc? How beneficial is it to have a professional degree?WHich sort of degrees do multinational companies look at?
Please help
Thanks
