I'll take the Alexandre approach:

TIER 1
Stanford
MIT
UC Berkeley
Carnegie Mellon
Cornell
Princeton

TIER 2
Texas
Illinois
Washington
Wisconsin
Harvard
Caltech

TIER 3
Brown
Yale
UCLA
Maryland
NYU
Massachusetts
Rice

These may be a little off, but I ranked them based on computer science programs.

Brown's actually at the top of the game as far as ivy's go for computer graphics. (see us news)
http://math.claremontmckenna.edu/ALe...ggraphics.html

essentially, three people are responsible for a relatively small department being ranked so high

One is Professor Andries Van Dam. He was the second person to ever receive a PhD in computer science, basically wrote the bible on computer graphics, and built the first hypertext system. The character "Andy" in Toy Story is named after him (in fact, Pixar is mostly comprised of his former students)

There are 8 schools in the ivy athletic league. I bet they would love to have Illinois, Maryland, Texas, Wisconsin (and some of the others noted in post #2)
join the league!
