Cal state university ranking in America

I am currently going to a CC in SoCal and considering to transfer to cal state university in undergraduate business. I have looked up so many university rankings through businessweek and usnews but Cal states are way behind. I wonder if Cal states are only well known in California. If it is, since I am an International student and companies in my country will look at the name of university, not the reputation, I better go to any well-known universities to everyone. I want to go UC but it is way too expensive for me. Does anyone know cal state universities undergraduate rankings in America? Also, does anyone know CUNY university in New York? Apparently, they also have nice business reputation but I have no idea which is better, Cal state or CUNY.

I would recommend trying to transfer to cal poly San luis Obispo, they have a very well regarded business program and although it may not have name recognition outside of the west, its a great school. Also, if you're worried about cost, I don't think it would be wise to consider out of state publics as they'd definitely be much more expensive than the UC's.

What people in the US think of the Cal States is not important. What matters is what people in YOUR COUNTRY think. If you don't know which university names will get you a job back home, you need to find that out fast. Have your parents investigate this for you, and do some of your own research as well.
