Any good school for accounting major doesn't require SAT?

Hi folks, this is Tam. I'm an international student from Macau, currently studying at a community college(TCC) in Washington. And I'm planning to major in accounting. And I'm gonna transfer to a 4 year institution.

Since most of the CCs don't require SAT score, I didn't take the test. But I can tell I'm a hard worker. Except for English, I can always get an A.

Plus, my school has something to do with UW Seattle, so being admitted by UW should not be too hard for me. But I know UW is famous for its school of medicine but not business....

I have been considering Stern, but many of their required courses are not included in my associate degree requirement, which means I will have to take loads more courses and postpone my graduation...

Do you guys have any recommendation?

Talk with the transfer advisor at your CC. If you complete your full Associates degree, most 4-year institutions will not require an ACT/SAT score. The counselor will be able to help you through this.

Good luck!

Bumpppp
Do u have any recommendation? My advisor needs to take care of more than 300 students, so she's extremely busy. I can only have one appointment with her each quarter. Yes I will go consult her, but I also need to work on my own.

I don't know anything about transferring, but there is a separate forum here for transfer students. Perhaps start at this topic:

When you graduate, and go back to Macau, will the employers care where you got your Accounting degree or not? If they won't care, then run the college-matching search engines for places that offer that major and fit your budget. When you have a list, check the information for transfer students at each website. The information about ACT/SAT exams is right there.

If the employers back home will care, then check the websites of the colleges/universities that you would need to attend here in order to get a job once you return. Again, ACT/SAT info will be right on the websites.
