Business Managment colleges in NYC???

I have been making a few posts lately bewtween law enforcement and bussines, but i've narrowed it down to wanting to be NYPD or be involved in Business Management, now i know what i have to do for NYPD and the available colleges and whatever, so i have one more question...

What colleges are their that are very good with Business Managment, in NYC, and has dorms??? Also, what can i expect the price range to be, and how many years would i need to go for???

thanks

NYU, Fordham, CUNY-Baruch are the 3 best undergrad business in NYC.

All three are 4-year colleges and prices vary.

Theres also St. Johns University. They have a pretty good business program, and have dorms. Actually, the university is located in Queens which is a borough of NYC and commute to Manhattan is a breeze.

In terms of prestige
NYU Stern
CUNY Baruch
Fordham Univeristy/St Johns University

NYU Stern is one of the top undergrad business schools in the nation. Very very expensive, poor financial aid. CUNY Baruch is a community school but they are famous for business. Fordham just sucks in general unless you're considering law. St Johns sucks in general too except for Pharmacy.

whoa since when is CUNY Baruch better than Fordham?

Fordham is well know college throughout NYC and has an alumni base almost unrivaled in NYC business world.

I agree with chocolateisgood

NYU Stern- if you have the 40K a year

Baruch trumps every thing else as far as getting a better education for a fraction of the money.

As far as the NYPD thing- go where the cops go- John Jay.

St. Johns is a catholic univerisy but it is not a crazy religious school. If you are looking for a campus experience they have dorms.

However, from an educational perspective, for the money you would get a much better education at Baruch

Baruch has no norms so you would either have to commute or find roommates and share an apt in the city.

Tuition and fees- St Johns:

General

$22,800 per academic year
$760 per credit
Fixed Rate Tuition for Freshmen entering Fall '05 and Spring '06:
$830 per credit; $12,450 per semester.

The Peter J. Tobin College of Business

For students (years 3-4) who enter in 2005-'06, '04-'05 and '03-'04:
$802 per credit; $12,025 per semester.

Room and Board: 2005-2006 Academic Year

Queens Campus

Single Room: $4,150 per semester.

Junior Double Room: $3,100 per semester.

Standard Double Room: $3,450 per semester.

Junior Triple Room: $2,900 per semester.

Standard Triple Room: $3,450 per semester.

Board (Meal) Plan: $2,050 per semester.

Baruch:

Undergraduate tuition

$2000 per semester $4000 per year

http://www.baruch.cuny.edu/tuition/index.htm#costs

with the $20,000 that you will save in tuition alone, I think you will be able to get a nice apartment

that's not true about baruch, cuny does have dorms but not many and i think mostly hunter college students stay in them. but dorms are an option, just not guaranteed, for baruch.

I'm very much interested in attending St. John's University for a business degree. It may not be the best undergraduate B-School in New York but if one works really hard here, won't he/she have a good chance of getting a job at a top investment banking firm?
On a scale of 0 to 100, let's assume you give 99 points to Wharton grads and 95 points to Stern grads for getting highly paying jobs on Wall Street. Compared to them, how many points would you give Tobin grads in terms of top job placements?
I would highly appreciate your replies.
