Pepperdine is probobly tied with Colgate and Middlebury
The ivies of course would follow promptly with their ...ivy covered buildings and their nice old buildings (american old so thats 100-200 years at most).
Someone already mentioned Europe, well atleast england : St. Andrews, Cambridge and Oxford all glorious campuses and also lot's of southern schools (WF, Duke, UNC, Rice you name it)

But it all depends if you like the stereotype college campus with lot's of grass and nice old buildings etc or if you like a campus more for modern architecture or just the feel of the campus makes you love it.
Cheers

My favorite Campus is that of Texas A&M believe it or not.
Just the atmosphere and all the beatiful people saying 'howdy' to complete strangers makes me want to walk there all the time... it even makes the quite average buildings look pretty.

I spent a year at St. Andrews as a grad student. There is NOTHING there to take your breath away. Nice university, quaint town, nice North Sea shoreline. But beauty or interesting architecture?; not bloody likely.

Pinkie90 - If you don't mind drab buildings and parking lots due to its heavy commuter nature (which is changing), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi is a lower-level school (but getting better) with a beautiful island location. It is the only university in the USA (to my knowledge) that is self-contained on its own island.

The new buildings are adding some architectural merit to the island, as well...

The university is building a brand-new part of campus on the adjacent mainland ("University Village") that should accomodate growth

Not a big fan of the fresco painting on the facade of the church (perhaps on the inside) but even then it just kind of has that "talented graffiti artist goes off" feel to it... you know kind of like you are driving and spot a really, really nice section of graffiti art on a highway overpass - i.e. you can appreciate the effort, but it doesn't necessarily belong there...
