Distribution requirements?

Do Swarthmore, Haverford College, Tufts and Colgate have core requirements? Does anybody know what these requirements are?

Check the academic section of each school's Web site; Colgate has a very specific core curriculum and I don't know about the others, but I do know that most schools give this information very clearly on their sites.

Thank you, mattmom, but the reason I asked is because I couldn't find the answer on their websites! Maybe I was looking at the wrong places??

With respect to Colgate, I answered your question on the Colgate board.

I just did a search on the Haverford Web site and if you type in degree requirements you will get a link to the catalog, which gives the information; I think a search of that nature will get you the information at the other scohols too.

haverford does have distribution requirement along with social justice, foreign language, physical education, and quantitative requirements....students has to take minimum of 18 course outside of their major unless they are double majoring.

Sometimes it is hard to find this information on college websites. Using the search function for "graduation requirements" is often the best bet.

Other options: distirubtion requirements, degree requirements, core curriculum.

Thank you, everyone! CC is great. I always told my kids never to go on chat sites because there might be a lot of weirdos lurking behind a mask of propiriety. Haha...and I'm addicted.
