Dermatology is a medical specialty that requires nothing special in college. First, you need a 4 year college degree with all the basic premed requirements. The actual major can be just about anything. 80% of undergrad degrees are in sciences, rest are in pysch, anthropology, education, etc etc. Then four years of med school, which may allow for electives in your senior year that might include dermatology. If you are a high school student, focus on basic premed issues, and not so much on "dermatology."
