Wash U vs. Georgetown for a poli sci major

I know Georgetown is in DC, so would choosing Wash U be a dumb decision if there were other pros and cons to both schools?

both are amazing schools for your specific major
I'd have to go with gtown

good shopping, good sports, great school

but washu does have the frat life and everything exciting going on revolves around the campus (also it is higher in the rankings...if you even care about silly things like that)
the midwest also takes some time getting used to if you're from either coasts

good luck with your ultimate choice. either way you certainly will not lose

Have you been admitted by both schools? If so, congratulations. Have you visited both schools? If not, you must, because they have a very different feel. Wash U: campus is so beautiful it looks like a movie set. Students work hard and play hard. In beautiful area of St. Louis. There's Greek life, but it's very laid back.

Gtown: no campus to speak of, in middle of D.C. Students very intense. Not sure about Greek life.

Georgetown has a campus! GWU is the urban one.

Also. PLEASE don't double post. People don't like having to repeat information.
