QQ, I don't know anything about Brockport, but Purchase is supposed to be excellent for dance. Generally, I believe the school is very good in all types of Arts programs. Purchase is located in an upscale area a few miles away from the city of White Plains. White Plains has lots of restaurants, clubs and 2 main malls (one is upscale). Buses are available on campus to take kids into White Plains. The school is about a half hour or so from NYC. There is train access from White Plains and also in nearby Portchester into NYC. Purchase has all different types of housing on campus and there should be a number of different types of off campus housing available in the different communities near the school. Most likely the school will probably be able to assist you if you need help finding off campus housing. Also, the Westchester airport is located about 5 minutes from the college. The school really is in a very good location. Best of luck!
