why? clemson is more laid back, better college town, though it may not be a public elite.

Um, if you are going to insist that Clemson is a better college then why ask the question?

Also, there is no way that Clemson can be regarded as a better college town then Chapel Hill. I have visited both, and believe there is no comparison.

Yeah, I don't know about the whole college town argument, but I do think justifying Clemson because it's more laid back is just silly.

Clemson, SC is in no way, shape, or form a better college town than Chapel Hill, NC. And there will be laid back people wherever you go, leetxy. It's COLLEGE.

Clemson is nowhere near the academic institution that UNC is not even the same galaxy. UNC is a top academic institution. This is a California perspective.

Once again, you should go to UNC. The two are on completely different levels academically.

Clemson doesn't even have a college town compared to UNC. Plus UNC has much better academics and sports. Oh, and most colleges are laid back

?!??
