Harvey Mudd vs. Case Western? HELP

I intend to double major in biochem and french and go to medical school after graduating. I can't decide between these two colleges!!

I know that Harvey Mudd is a great engineering school and good relationship with the professors and lots of research opportunities along with the weather, but I heard it's tough to do pre-med and go to medical school from there. I was even thinking about majoring in engineering then going to med school. Do you think it'll be really hard to do pre-med there? is it impossible?

Case Western Reserve University is offering me a good amount of scholarship and i heard they have pretty good pre-med stuff, but I just don't know much about it. I have visited HMC and I loved the people and classes there, but I don't have much insight into the social and academic life at Case.

I also want to continue playing the flute in college and do a lot of internship/lab work/research.

Can anybody help me choose?!!!
any help would be really greatly immensely appreciated!!

My son is a junior premed at Case so I have a little insight (also my daughter is a high school junior with different interests than her brother so we're looking at possibly Case for her too or maybe Mudd). Case has an excellent engineering department as well as excellent premed program. The also have a school of music. Most students at Case seem to have 2 or three majors (my son is bio&history) and those can include music. There are lots of internships available in and around the campus because the University Hospital is located on the campus itself and the Cleveland clinic is a few blocks away. On the campus is also the symphony hall and students get seats for cheap (and there's a lottery for free sometimes too).

Whether you go to Mudd or Case, females are a minority. Looks like a bit more so at Mudd than Case,

Mudd is tiny and Case is a mid-sized school which is located in the midst of a large city (not downtown but only 15 minutes away) with a major street which bisects the campus (and which is currently undergoing major construction probably for the next year). Cleveland is very cold and a bit gray and gloomy in winter.

I would not choose Case Western. The students are quite unhappy there and most of the people I know who go there want to transfer out

I got into both Mudd and Case. Case is about 20 miles from my home. After I got into Mudd, I didn't even consider Case.

That being said, you want to go into premed. Do not come to Mudd if you want to go to med school. You will most likely not get into med school after having your GPA destroyed by HMC.

People at Harvey Mudd told my daughter's friend that they study a lot and still get very low GPA, 2ish. Not a good school for premed. I don't know anything about Case Western.
