Narcissa and jcll2002, you should be aware--if you're not already--that you can apply ED to LSM at Penn and, if you're not accepted to LSM, then be considered for admission to either Wharton or the College RD and not ED. In fact, when you select a single school option as an alternative to LSM, the default is that you will be considered for the single school RD, unless you specify that you also want to be considered for the single school ED.
So, you can apply to LSM ED and, if you're not accepted, still be considered for either Wharton or the College RD along with any other RD schools to which you apply, thereby keeping open all your non-LSM options (if Wharton or the College alone is not your definite first choice after LSM).

Yeah, i am a little torn. I was thinking of applying EA to BC, Georgetown, and UChicago but now i'm thinking questbridge might be the way to go. but hey, we still have a little while to decide!

Questbridge is a scholarship program that gives a completely full ride to very low-income students at one of its partner colleges or universities (all are very prestigious).
You rank the schools you want, and then the highest ranked one you get into they will give you the money for it.
At least I think that's how it works, basically.

For a while I was decided with Northwestern, but now I'm 100% sure that I'm going to apply to WashU ED.

oops sorry, forgot that i have another question to ask.
What is the difference between ea and ed? is it true that for ea your grades have to be good while ed they care less about your grades?

So, wait, now i'm confused. Can you apply to one school SCEA and one school EA? Because that would solve a lot of my problems...

no. u can only apply to one SCEA school, period. you can apply to as many EA schoosl as you want, and perhaps along with an ED school as well if they allow it

kb -- No, you can't. The "S" in SCEA stands for SINGLE choice early action (meaning it's the only one you're applying to).

You have to look at the rules each school has. It has become crazy. And things change year to year. THere was a time EA at GT could be combined with other earlies, now no more. In such cases, you can combine with rollings.
