My List

Like everybody else, I'm looking at my list and asking if the schools I have will be good come May. So, like many others, I'm asking for help.
Are there other schools that I should look at. Any comments about things that I need to think about for these colleges?

UChi (SUPER MEGA reach that I don't even know if I'm going to apply to. it's been my dream school since end of freshman year)
Carleton (reach) I like the "goofy"-ness of it. and it's close-ness to a city for a LAC
Macalester (match-hopefully) see carleton
Willamette (match/safety) it's supposed to have feel similiar to carl, but be easier to get into... and it's in a beautiful area

Schools I'm not sure if I want to apply to:
Kenyon
Oberlin
Knox
Lyon (LAC in Arkansas)-don't really know much about it

any I should add?
thanks!

I don't know much about Lyon, but have you looked at Hendrix? You might also check out Beloit. Both of these colleges have similar student types as Carleton.
And most people with your list also look at Grinnell and Reed.

Reed=too liberal for me (though I did look at it and wanted to like it)

And I have looked at Grinnell, but it failed to impress me for some reason.
I will look at Hendrix and Beloit, though.

thanks for the suggestions.

Maybe Lawrence (WI) and Skidmore (NY).

Since you consider Willamette, consider also Lewis & Clark, far more beautiful, IMHO.
