I'm studying fashion design in a small fashion school in Peru. It's called Mod'art and its main campus is in Paris, where I would be going for my senior year and to get my bachelor's degree.
However, I'm not entirely happy here because it is rather small and there's only one major and I'd really like to attend a bigger school as I'm used to that.
I have narrowed my search to this colleges:
SCAD
FIT
Miami International University of Art and Design

How strong are their fashion programs and connections with the industry? I know FIT is one of the best in the fashion industry and SCAD is a really good art school, but how about in fashion?
Is it worth transferring? I don't know if maybe it is better to go to Paris and get a degree from a not so known school or transfer to one of the colleges above.

rhode island school of design and parsons also have amazing programs if not some of the best in art and design

yeah I know, but both are really pricey.. especially for international students and my art background is not that strong so I probably wouldn't be able to get a scholarship there.

RISD also offers cross classes with Brown as well.
RISD is private same price for international is it is in the US.

SCAD has a great fashion design program. I am not sure if you have looked into it. But, fashion designers combine conceptual and technical skills to create original collections of garments and accessories consistent with established fashion trends.

SCAD has Industry-standard Equipment. Sewing studios are equipped with industry-standard dress forms, cutting tables, professional sewing machines and specialty finishing equipment.

One of the biggest events of the year is the SCAD fashion show, where the graduating seniors get to show their work. Also, we invite the top most fashion designers as guest speakers, in the past we have had Vera Wang, Oscar De La Renta, Prada and Andre Leon talley is also a part of our board of trustees. Miss Jay Alexander comes down to Savannah to train the student models.
In combination to our fashion design program, SCAD will start offering BFA, MA, and MFA in Fashion Marketing and Management. In addition to a BFA, MA, and MFA in Accessory Design (one of the very few schools that offers this program).

I wanted to know which would be the best college for me for graduate fashion design program.

The options I have

1. Drexel University , Phil - 3yrs program
2, Scad + with scholarship - 2yrs program
3. Academy of Arts , San f - 3yrs program

Please help someone. I need to choose the best out of the above and proceed with admission.

yeah, i did check on pratt institute... when i was applyin... but dey didnt hve fashion design graduate program..

I applied to parsons 2 ,, but it is insanly expensive... got in parsons,, but unfortunately cnt afford..

the options i hve now are

AAU is $40k for in state

Kent St is $28K and a top #3 ranked school with good leadership and intership jobs. AAU don't think so?
