Most of the schools in Illinois are rather ugly concrete campuses... :\

Public, at least. I don't know much about private schools in-state outside of UChicago, Northwestern, DePaul, and Loyola... and I'm not entirely sure what they look like.

I'm pretty sure Delaware only has two non-open-enrollment colleges. No kidding--UD and DSU, that's it. And the UD campus is quite pretty, so no contest either.

Most Beautiful → Smith College

Smith College is an arboretum. The landscaping was designed by Frederick Law Olmstead (who also designed Central Park in NYC). It includes a beautiful lake (Paradise Pond), botanical gardens, interesting architecture, and even waterfalls. It's also gorgeous in the New England Fall.

Here are some pictures:

Virginia (again)

William and Mary (breathtakingly beautiful and historical, the best)
UVA (beautiful but second to William and Mary)
University of Richmond (you have to see it, gorgeous, in Richmond even)
University of Mary Washington (a mini UVA, absolutely beautiful campus. It used to be the sister school of UVA before they both went co-ed. Very similar building style, etc.)

Ugly, ugly, ugly

Old Dominion University (so darn ugly)
Norfolk State (ugliest in US, really ugly)
VCU (crime ridden and really dirty and ugly)
Hampton University (ugly, grass needs cutting, etc.)
UVA/Wise (ugly, what's the point of this school, anyway?)
