Hey, what are some good EA schools?

I will say that I'm applying ED to Wesleyan or Wellesley to give you an idea of my "level." My parents think I can do way better, but I'm fond of those schools I chose, and seeing that how college admission game is becoming only harder every year.... I think I have a fairly good chance for either, but my goal is to be into ONE COLLEGE before 2008 is over, so I was thinking really hard about adding Early Action on top of that... Read on if you would like more info about me, OR just jump to the last line.


- ACT score: 33 (average...i guess :/)
- Excellent EC's (Arts and humanities) I'm the big editor for three big publications, film, theatre, music clubs, I have leadership roles in all those, and I'm known to contribute actively in my community and initiate all the events and new things, flying everywhere and there (as explained in teacher rec), national writing and art awards, some tennis awards, internships and work experience in art museum and local newspaper, there are too many to write, but they ARE good and make me look rly accomplished, even if i'm not.. VERY ARTSY
- crappy GPA @@ Lots of AP's and decent test scores. I also go to a top 5 prestigious boarding school, and colleges tend to take that into consideration and understand that curriculum is prtty rigorous


What are the EA schools that are relatively easy to be admitted to, but somewhere that still has a good rep that i won't be embarrassed to talk about in front of my snobby family and relatives who attended all the big Ivies and Seven-Sisters and whatnot...

Any good schools?!

U Chicago for a reach, and University of Vermont which is safety for you, so you'd definitely be in, and if you apply very early, you'd know by Nov. 1.

university of texas plan 2 (Actually has a 25- 33 percent acceptance rate, pretty tough)
also most people would kill for a 33 act score you know that right

From the Gtown website:"Students applying to Georgetown under our Early Action program may not concurrently apply to a binding Early Decision program. Georgetown does give students the option to apply both under our Early Action program and under other schools' Early Action programs. Please be sure to research the guidelines of all schools to which you are applying; not all Early Action programs will allow multiple Early Action applications."

whoaaaaaaa i did NOT know that Colorado College offered EA!!!

and no way in HELL would i get into UChicago...... i'd be embarrassed to even put my grades forth to that school, but hey thanks for the idea
