UW is my safety but i'm just wondering if anyone's had any experience with the honors program to tell me if its worth applying to or not. requires an extra essay and teacher rec.
If it's UWashington, you should totally apply. I have a ton of friends in the program, and they all say that it is very worthwhile. One extra essay shouldn't give you much trouble, and the amount of opportunities you get by being in honors more than makes up for the temporary pain.
