William and Mary

Is William and Mary really that great of a school? Is it worth the money? Interntional Relations is the degree .... should I say yes to the offer or keep looking?

Have you visited? We visited in Sept. after visiting a LAC which scored high marks with my d. H could definitely feel the sense that it was a state school. Are you OOS? would the triple OOS tuition make a difference?

Depends what type of person you are. William and Mary is a fairly nerdy state school.

When your son applied early decision he made a commitment to attend if accepted.

ED is binding. You don't have any options.

BTW, according to their website, Depauw doesn't notify early applicants in either the binding or non-binding programs until January ...what gives?

Not to sound too harsh, but your son should have been looking and determining what he wanted to do- including the possibility of receiving merit $$ to another school- before applying ED to W&M. It is a binding commitment and they expect the ED applicants have made it as their first choice school. It is a great school BTW.
