Deep Springs

I've heard about this school, but immediately was turned off by it because it was an all-guys school, middle of nowhere, only 26 students, etc...

But now I'm starting to warm up to it. I've heard it is very prestigious and most grads go on to transfer to prestigious schools like, HYPS, etc... But does pretty much everyone transfer to a good school? I may be a bottom feeder if I attend(if I got accepted, lol), would that screw me up, could I still transfer to a decent school?

I go to an all-guys H.S. now and it is driving me insane, so I'm not sure if I'll even apply here, but I might, do some work, mature a bit, then go off to another college.

How much will Deep Springs help me in life? I'm guessing it has a, small, but pretty good alumni network.

kids who get into Deep Springs probably would have gotten into HYPS in the first place. Maybe that's why they enjoy good a transfer rate?

Yeah, I heard that too, and it makes sense. But does EVERYONE from Deep Springs transfer to a top 15 school, or could if they wanted too?

E: Ok, then what is the lure? For me I guess it would be for me to mature with work, go to a really good school, feel part of a community and give me a chance to transfer to a good school
