Northface University, Heard of it?

Earlier this week I was accepted to Northface Univsersity in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was wondering if anyone has heard of this school, and if so what they thought about it.

I wasn't really expecting many people to have heard of it, since it just opened not too long ago. When searcing the forms, all I found was references to a northface store and the northface jacket

I was hoping somebody might be able to have heard something about it. My Dad has found several discussions about it online hearing both the pros and the cons of a school of this nature. It's 70% project based and allows a student to earn their Bachelor's degree in twenty-eight months.

Check the accreditation of the school and be sure that it's not a "diploma mill." There are any number of bogus "colleges" out there that offer to award credit for "life experience" and give out degrees in relatively short amounts of time. Bona fide institutions of higher education in Utah should have accreditation through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. If it's not NWCCU-accredited, the degree won't be worth much.

Northface is a branch of Morrison Univserity, neither of which are accredited by the NWCCU, however Northface is accredited by the ACICS, Accrediting Counsil for Independent Colleges and Schools.

While you're there, send me a jacket.

Or just a college sweatshirt so I have one that says "Northface" on it and people think it's just a bootleg for the clothing company.
