OSU vs Penn State vs VT (Virginia Tech)

majoring in Biology thinking of going into Med afterwards. Or even if end up not going into Med school, what would be the best choice? It can get pretty confusing after making comparions for a while... Help!

    All are about equal, so I'd go to whichever one is in your state of residence.

    If you don't live in one of those three states, go with Penn State.

    Agreed. Penn State is the strongest of the three.

    If you are hoping to have hospital based volunteer experience as an undergrad, you should think about Ohio State. It has a huge teaching hospital right next to the University and offers many research opportunities. Plus, Columbus is a fantastic city with lots to do and see.

    I'm not sure PSU is that strong in sciences. I'd say Buckeyes due to the superior location and hospitals..
