Penn's #4 again, so this list must be 100% legit.

Seems like Duke's taking a beating and UPenn's going up. Sort of surprised USC is at 26.

^look at preseason ranks for the football teams.
It's nice to see UChicago solidifying itself as a top 10 school though.

Wow, lame. CMC didn't move up and the rankings basically did not change at all in LAC's...

Sparkeye, US News penalizes public universities. Hence, you'll never see Berkeley break the top-20 on the list. As for why USC is ranked higher than Michigan, I would like to think there is some inaccuracy involved.

As an Eph, assuming these are right, good to see Williams continue its first place streak (I think six years now?). Midd continues its (well-deserved, in my view) climb up the rankings ladder. And Pomona which, along with W,A,S, should basically be tied for first every year, continues to be chronically underranked.

Harvard, Princeton, MIT, and Stanford have PA's of 4.9, Yale has a P.A of 4.8, Berkeley has a PA of 4.7, Caltech, Columbia and Chicago have PA's of 4.6. UPenn, Hopkins and Cornell have PA's of 4.5 ... Brown, Duke and Michigan are at 4.4. Dartmouth, Northwestern, and UVA are at 4.3. Carnegie Mellon and UCLA are at 4.2. Washu is relatively low for its rank at 4.1 (with UNC and Wisconsin)... I probably missed a few
