I faxed my transcripts, which may have helped. I think my financial situation helped as well. We have a very low-income and are strongly affected by Governor Markell's (your governor's) pay cuts for state employees. My mom works for Delaware.

Mine was faxed from the school, as well, so let's hope I get a response soon. But I think that Scripps won't care to pay for Asian diversity, being as it's in California and gets plenty already.

Anyone here ever been to one of these? How diverse are they usually? Like what percentage of African-Americans/Hispanics are usually present?

GW is having a multicultural open house at the end of October.

Quote:
On Thursday, October 29, and Friday, October 30, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions welcomes high school seniors from around the country to GW’s campus for Colonial Connection.

The event kicks off with a cultural festival dinner Thursday evening hosted by the Dean's Council for Multicultural Recruitment. Friday events allow our visiting students to experience campus life through the eyes of current GW students and provide great opportunities to connect with student organizations and the Multicultural Student Services Center.

Activities for the event include:
A reception with current students
Opportunities to interview with an admissions representative
Participation in a class
An overnight stay with a current student
A luncheon with the Dean’s Council for Multicultural Recruitment
A student organization fair
Campus Tour

GW will provide travel assistance scholarships to students from around the country. If you would like to apply for a travel scholarship, please let us know when you RSVP.

Unfortunately, no. That's the entire page of the website. There's nominally more information when you actually register, but not much.
