what do you guys think are the best "unknown" or unnoticed schools around? by unknown, i mean schools that few people even on CC know

From what I can comprehend, few people on here are aware of these competitive private schools:
.Brandeis
.Wellesley
I know this list isn't as great as the previous poster's but I felt compelled to add a couple more to consider.

Have to disagree about Colgate. I believe it gets the most applications of schools in the LAC-top tier - category. That means more than Williams, Amherst, etc. So it is NOT unknown.

Ursinus College, Hobart & William Smith, Hendrix College, Southwestern University, Clark University, Knox College, Coe College, and others are decent schools that aren't well known, at least among people I know
