Major: Elementary Education

Does anyone know of any schools that are known for their elementary education program?

Lots of schools have great elementary education programs so lets start at a different point. Tell us a bit about yourself. What are your grades and SATs like? What are you looking for in a school overall - big, small, medium-sized? Any particular part of the country or a type of setting (i.e., rural, urban, suburban)? Is cost an issue? Do you need financial aid? Would you consider a religiously-affiliated school (and if so, any specific religion)? How would you describe yourself (liberal, preppy, artsy, conservative, etc.)? What do you like to do for fun? And so on....as I said, there are lots of great schools for future elementary school teachers so we need to know what type of college would fit YOU in order to narrow down recommendations.
