I am currently an architecture major at Cal Poly Pomona, and I'm looking to transfer to a school with industrial or graphic design.

I'm planning on applying to:
Cal Poly SLO: Art and Design B.F.A. Concentration in Graphic Design
UCLA : Design | Media Arts
SF State : Industrial Design B.S. Concentration in Product Design and Development
SJSU : Industrial Design

Does anyone know how good these programs are, relative to the rest of the country? I know UCLA has a great program but I'm not too sure of my chances.

Are these the best public California schools for these majors?

And is the extra money I'd be spending to go to a private/out of state school worth it?
