What schools are most similar to Stanford and UChicago? (disregarding location)

Well, almost any school is similar to the ones you've mentioned in some way. Letting us know what factors matter to you will help us mention schools that might be more in line with what you want.

beck you must be friggin smart, it is super hard to get into Olin I hear. I wouldnt want to go there though, I am humanities oriented

Cornell and Stanford supposedly have similarities in philosophy and organization. Stanford was founded (or maybe had as first President) by a Cornellian on the Cornell model. Unfortunately, poor Stanford is plagued with monotonously warm, sunny climate. Chicago is a selective university with a powerful grad school that attracts pure intellectuals. It might be comparable to some of the Techs but Chicago is pretty unique.
