Do the kids get their books at Barnes and Noble?

In most cases, Amazon is significantly cheaper.

Amazon is significantly cheaper esp. for hard cover texts, but D got hers when we went down last week for her ID. She got all used books (25% off) and since she picked them out personally managed to get ones in great shape without highlighting. There was a wall full of pre-orders awaiting pickup, and most books, even used, seemed to be in good supply...but who knows what will be left a week from now for freshmen?

half.com didn't have the books daughter needed. She ordered some from Amazon and the others, nearly as cheap to pick up at Barnes and Noble.

Go to mywm, click the myWMhome tab (in the upper left under the 4 pictures of campus).

There is a Resources section on the left side of the resulting page. Under Student Services is W&M bookstore. Just click that, and another screen will pop up. There will be a tab saying "buy your textbooks on line today". Go through what it tells you to do (basically look up your classes), and you will get a complete book list, each book shows the ISBN number you will need. Then go to Half.com and buy them...lol.

I've been using Amazon for years. While you save some money there, it isn't the best. You wouldn't normally think about it but try eBay. Just search for the ISBN. If it's on there you'll get a very low price usually.
