chances, so far....

I'm currently a sophomore in high school, and I was wondering what my chances are so far for Wellesley, Vassar, Colgate University, Lehigh, James Madison, and College of William and Mary!

GPA (uw):3.73 ( this is the GPA I will graduate with in two years if I get a 4.0 from now on.)

In-school activities:
French Club (President)
Amnesty International
Tech Crew (Props Director)
Track and Field Team
Golf Team
Mock Trial
Dance Company

Extra Curricular:
Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern classes: 9 years
Piano Lessons: 7 years
Graphic Designer: 5 years

Work Experience:
Graphic Designer for over 20 clients over the last 5 years.
Assistant for a psychologist—1 year (should be three by the time I apply for college)

Volunteerism:
Volunteered at local senior center(I plan to do more, don’t worry)

I have a portfolio for graphic design that dates back 2 years, which I will probably include if they allow it. Intended major: International Relations, minor: dance or anthropology. Be totally honest, and if you have any college recommendation please suggest them! I'd love to look into it.

do as best you can in your classes and on the SAT.

keep doing ECs, look for leadership positions as you become a junior/senior.

have fun... you don't need to stress about college as a sophomore.

Agreed with above. You definitely seem to be on the right track, though.

Dizzyfeet, it's a bit difficult to assess one's qualifications as a sophomore because a lot can happen in two years. Just continue to enroll in rigorous courses (APs and such), continue to maintain strong grades (primarily As and some Bs) and continue to be involved and excel in that area. As a junior, visit the campuses and see if they feel right to you. See if they have interview opportunities (you can interview on-campus at W&M with a current W&M senior the summer before your senior year) and continue to try your best but remember that high school is not a means to an end but it is an experience you should live.
