Generally the purpose of out-of-state students is to pay the full ride and help provide financial aid to W&M. I'm sure OOS students get some aid, but not as much as in staters.

W&M can generally meet about 80% of an out-of-state student's demonstrated need as calculated by the FAFSA. We have many grants that can to Virginians only which is why 100% cannot usually be met.
