I believe that is correct. My S attended last spring and we paid travel costs. He was seriously considering Grinnell but soon after his arrival he texted me to say he was "home". If possible you should really try to attend so you can make an informed decision. CC does a great job welcoming all the prospective students in attendance and keeping them very busy. Good luck.
