Columbia Waitlist
Does anyone know how many people are put on the waitlist and when is the earliest they start letting people know?

Last year they let 6 people in off the waitlist.

And they can't start looking at the waitlist until after May 1st, when they've got all of their replies.

They start letting people off the waitlist and into the class of '11 on May 15.

so i heard that some kids got off the waitlist for Fu Foundation ... did anyone hear back from Columbia College yet? do they send out the decisions together for Fu and College or separately?

Columbia doesn't announce any till the 15th...so no one got off either SEAS or CC yet.

Just to put 'closure' (I hate that word - not the meaning, just how omnipresent it is in my/our live/s) on this thread, it seems that Columbia just sent out a mass email saying their class is full and will not be admitting students off the wait-list.

aaah.. i read your post in the columbia main forum, so your a SEAS person huh... im a CC person and got that extended waitlist thing... i wonder now.. this is gonna be interesting
